BCA Float

The Float 32 is an excellent all-round backpack that is just the right size for most mountain tours, while remaining compact enough for lift-based skiing. The avalanche backpack extends slightly from the back and offers good adjustability on the straps.

It features a dedicated compartment for an avalanche probe and shovel, making them easy to access when needed. The backpack also includes smart solutions such as ice axe attachments, a zippered pocket on the hip belt, and a helmet cover.

The Float 32 is constructed from highly durable and robust materials. The buckle on the hip belt is made of metal to withstand heavy strain. The trigger handle can be positioned on either the right or left side.

The airbag system is powered by an air-filled cylinder that inflates the avalanche balloon (included). When you pull the trigger integrated into the shoulder strap, the 150-liter avalanche balloon inflates in just a few seconds. This reduces the density of the person caught in the avalanche, providing greater "buoyant capacity" in the moving snow. The balloon's high visibility also makes searching for the victim easier and faster. The Float system relies on compressed air and can be refilled after deployment.
